I never thought that search engine optimization is also a total pain in the neck not until I was advised to join the seocontest2008 sponsored by UK WebMasterWorld. Oh well, it is fun though despite the fact that I have to write everyday and post it in my blog just to get things going. Hmm… although I am getting a good grip on it, I would still need more time and gruesome efforts just to know the basics of it. I’m reading an SEOBOOK right now and much to my surprise those techniques mentioned there were basically already right under my nose. I never knew I was actually doing the right stuff in optimizing my developed websites in the past. But of course, I missed most of the advices in the book just to get my sites on the top among the leading search engine in the internet. Right now, I am really concerned about what going on with one of the sites I maintain because I used to have good keywords about those sites that is putting me on top in Google and Yahoo! However, lately, when I typed in those keywords, I was heavily dazed because I could find those sites already in the first page. Crap! Our network administrator made some major in our web server that practically hurt our ranking. The migration thing he mentioned made a negative impact I supposed. Bamboozle as I may term it for that shitty network admin because he tries to cloak things for me to figure out what’s really going on.
